Never knew there was a saw blade that could cut aluminum without a lot of sanding to get the cut edges smooth. Will also cut wood but not real well. It's really best for aluminum. Works great on composite aluminum sign panels. Dining and alumalite. (Posted on January 7, 2014)

My carpenter has been using this to cut 1/8 inch thick aluminum decking material with a worm drive. He is pleased with with the performance of the blade. He's been able to make the cuts 'in the air' as well as on terra firma. He's not really a diy'er because he has over 30 years of construction experience under his belt. I would advise weekend diy'ers to cut on the ground. Be safe always!! (Posted on November 16, 2012)

First opportunity to use Gila blade ... cutting aluminum tubes. Wow, smooth, easy ... even on thin walls that cause other blades to vibrate the aluminum tube. EXCELLENT blade. (Posted on June 11, 2012)
